Cops: Lakeland Teen Grabs Classmate's Buttocks

A 15-year-old Cortlandt Manor teen is due at the Department of Probation on Tuesday for counseling after touching a classmate's buttocks, Yorktown police said. 

The teen was charged with juvenile delinquency – the underlying charge, had it been committed by an adult would have been forcible touching, a misdemeanor. 

Police said they received a report at 2:55 p.m. on Dec. 11 that earlier in the day a Lakeland High School student had grabbed the buttocks of a 15-year-old female student while in a classroom. 

The teen was arrested at Lakeland High School on Dec. 12. He was scheduled to appeared at the Department of Probation on Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. for counseling. He was later released to his mother.
