Slow down!

Today an unidentified school bus damaged the opened car door of a parent unloading 3 children in a 15mph school zone in front of the Yorktown Community Nursery School, where a free standing crosswalk sign was in place. The school bus did not stop and while no one was hurt, the car did have to be towed and a police report was taken. This road is heavily travelled by school buses to Boces and by our community. If you have any information, please call the school. And please slow down! Preschoolers are precious and precocious!
