Sister Regina Gorga, of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Died Dec. 1

Sister Regina Catherine Gorga S.C. died on Dec. 1 at the Convent of Mary the Queen. She taught in elementary schools in Westchester, Manhattan, Staten Island and Queens for 55 years.

Sister Regina spent the last 30 of those years at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours were at the Convent of Mary the Queen in Yonkers on Tuesday. Funeral Mass was held at the Convent on Wednesday. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Charity of New York.
