Mary Agnes Treanor, of Baldwin Place, Dies at 86

Mary Agnes Treanor (nee Sullivan), of Baldwin Place passed away on Jan. 23. She was 86. 

Treanor, born in New York City, was the daughter of John Sullivan and Katherine Breheny. She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Cahill and her brother John Sullivan.

The woman was the devoted wife of the late Arthur J. Treanor (retired NYPD). They shared all of life’s journeys together while living in the Bronx, Blauvelt, and Saugerties in New York and Old Saybrook, Connecticut.

Treanor dedicated her life to being a loving mother and is survived by her five children: John Treanor of Sleepy Hollow, IL; Ann Marie Treanor of Yorktown Heights, Patrick Treanor of Dedham, MA; Arthur Treanor of Morrisville, VT; and Noreen Maasz of Sloatsburg. She was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
