Leroy Smith, a Somers resident who served in the Navy during World War II before working for 37 years with the New York City Transit Authority, died Saturday, Feb. 15. He was 87.
That's according to his obituary, which is posted on the website for Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. Smith leaves behind many relatives, including three children, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and again Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21. Click here for more information.
