Vincent Miritello Special Olympics NY Miles for Medals Walk - April 28, 2013 - Why walk?
The 2013 Vincent Miritello's Special Olympics NY MFM Walk is scheduled for Sunday, April 28 at FDR State Park in Yorktown.
Please join this year's walk! It is going to be FUN! There will be BBQ, raffles, entertainment, DJ, face painter, pony rides, cupcake decorating, band, and so much more!
Special Guest Star who will be at the event is Meredith Cullen, a Carnegie Hall singer and star on "My Big Gay Italian Wedding"!

The FDR walk, benefiting Special Olympics NY is only a 2-mile walk with beautiful scenery and you get to walk with a great group of individuals including some of our Athletes who also raise money for the walk!
NO REGISTRATION FEE! Raise $100 and receive an Official Miles for Medals T-shirt! Other great incentives also available! So, get started today and enjoy the fun!

Our athletes live with functional limitations that hinder what they can do. These functional limitations will never completely go away. By participating in Specials Olympics our athletes can continue to develop the life skills they need to be accepted, respected, and given a chance to be useful and productive citizens in our society. Your participation at the 2013 VINCENT MIRITELLO MFM WALK will make it possible for Specials Olympics NY - Hudson Valley Region to continue to offer programs that will help increase our athletes' abilities. You will not only be helping a good cause but you will have a great time doing so with our athletes, your family and friends!
