Yorktown High School Seniors Celebrate Graduation 2013

On sunny Saturday, June 22, 2013, over 300 Yorktown High School seniors and their families celebrated their many years of accomplishment when they graduated at SUNY Purchase.  Michael Park, valedictorian, and Maria Mavrommatis, salutatorian, addressed their peers.  Jeffrey Naft, Class President, gave the farewell speech.  Dr. Ralph Napolitano, Superintendent, spoke and conferred diplomas along with Ms. Jackie Carbone, Board of Education President and Mr. Joseph DeGennaro, Principal.  Many thanks to Mrs. Nancy Torrente for leading the YHS Orchestra in the processional and receccional, Mr. Tom Arduini for leading the choir of members from the class, and Mr. Bill Tovar for facilitating the event.
