Yorktown Menorah Lighting Ceremony, Chanukah Wonderland on Sunday

The Chabad of Yorktown is hosting a Menorah lighting ceremony at the Jack DeVito gazebo along with a Chanukah Wonderland celebration at the Yorktown Community Nursery School on Sunday, Dec. 1. 

The Menorah lighting ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m. Residents can enjoy Fire Juggling Show, traditional latkas, doughnuts, chocolate gelt and dreidels. Free light-up Menorah necklaces will be given to all participants. The lighting ceremony will be followed by music and singing.

Children can enjoy making their own Chanukah candles and doughnuts during the Chanukah Wonderland celebration from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. They can also participate in Chanukah cookie decorating activities and other crafts. The cost to attend is $5.
