Yorktown's Erik Santini Honored for Achieving Eagle Scout Rank

Yorktown's Erik Santini has received a New York State Proclamation from Senator Greg Ball (R,C,I-Patterson) for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest possible rank in the Boy Scouts of America.

Santini's project consisted of leading and building of four podiums for the Elks Lodge of Yorktown. Having no prior knowledge of wood working, his project required research and input from industry experts. He chose the project because his chartering organization – Elks Lodge – has been seeking help on this project for well over a year.

He will host his Eagle Scout Court of Honor at the Elks Lodge in Yorktown Heights on Dec. 15 at 1:30 p.m.
