Yorktown Teen Becomes an Eagle Scout

Yorktown's Erik Santini is now part of an elite group of young men who can call themselves Eagle Scouts.

According to a Patch blog post by NY Sen. Greg Ball (R, C, I — Patterson), Santini earned the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America after spending more than 150 hours building four podiums for the Elks Lodge.

Santini told Ball, "...it was wonderful to be a fine example of what Boy Scouting means to many of the younger boys in our troop."
