Yorktown Lions Club to Hold Open House for New Members

The Yorktown Lions Club will be hosting a Member Recruitment OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday October 26 at 7 p.m. at Ceola Manor, 489 East Main Street in Jefferson Valley.

The Yorktown Lions, founded in 1960, is a non profit 501(c) 3 charity. The volunteer community service organization is dedicated to helping the vision-impaired people, supporting the youth, and serving the needs of people in the Yorktown community. One hundred percent of the funds they raise go to their causes.

Their interests include Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Vacation Camp for the Blind, eye exams and glasses those in need, youth scholarships, Eagle Scout/Gold Award support, the Yorktown Leos Club, Westchester Exceptional Children/Pines Bridge School, Support Connection, Americares, the Food Pantry, and area Veterans.
