Jason Needle -Mahopac resident, Iraqi War Veteran, Performance Coach at the Parisi Speed School at Club Fit, and now another statistic living with, dealing with and coping with a form of cancer, known as AML.

Jason was diagnosed just before Thanksgiving, and has been receiving treatments since November 29, 2010 at New York Presbyterian-Cornell Hospital.

 

“Jason is a phenomenal athlete and coach that has inspired hundreds of children to maximize their potential as athletes and as individuals”, claims Parisi Speed School director, Bill Pagel.  “Now is our time to give back to him”.

 

In an effort to help this talented young athlete and coach as he prepares to fight the biggest battle of his life – please join us in an “Athletic Challenge for Jason” give the “Gift of Life” – Bone Marrow Drive.

 

January 15, 2011 is the first date!  Hosted at Club Fit, Jefferson Valley – 600 Bank Road, Jefferson Valley, NY.  Have fun testing your athletic skills, raise funds and learn how to support people with leukemia.  All financial donations will go to support Jason or the Gift of Life Organization.  A $10 donation to participate will be greatly appreciated.  Athletic Challenges begin at 10am, 11am and 12pm.  A voluntary bone marrow screening from 10am to 1pm – a swab of your cheek is all that is needed!  For more information, please contact Bill Pagel at 914-245-6993 or bpagel@clubfit.com.

 

January 23, 2011 – Hosted at Club Fit, Jefferson Valley – 600 Bank Road, Jefferson Valley, NY.  11am-7pm “Some Love For Jay – 3v3 Basketball Tournament Fundraiser.  Children and adults welcome.  Games to 11 points or 15 minutes.  $20 per adult player, $10 for children 13 and under.  Pre-registration is required by January 16, 2011.  One free raffle ticket is included to win fabulous prizes and a “Jason’s Army” t-shirt is included as well.  For more information, please contact Julie Culhane at julieculhane@gmail.com or register at Club Fit reception desk, 914-245-4040.
