Akindale
Thoroughbred Rescue hosting its annual Family Fun Day at Cloverbrook Farm in
Pawling, NY October 12, 2013

PAWLING, New York –With so many special events going
on in 2013, Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue hopes to welcome a record number of
people to its annual Family Fun Day. This year’s event boasts a new “Hoe Down”
theme and will take place on Saturday, October 12th from 12 - 4pm,
at Cloverbrook Farm located at 400 Quaker Hill Road, Pawling, NY.

For all of us at Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue,
Family Fun Day is very important as it brings awareness to the community that
our town is home to one of the largest Thoroughbred Rescues in NY. It also
helps to raise much needed funds necessary to care for the 140 rescued horses
that call Akindale home. “We are excited to welcome the community to our new Hoe
Down themed family event this year” stated Erin Pfister, Akindale’s Manager,
“this year we  have added a BBQ lunch for
parents and their children as well as country music and a line dance instructor!”

A $40 donation per family will include a BBQ lunch, hay
& pony rides, country music with a line dance instructor and everyone’s
favorite Birds of Prey Show! As always, we will have lots of fun activities for
the kids as well as raffles and silent auctions for the adults.

More details are available on our website at:
