The Random Farms Kids' Theater is about to open their production of "Hansel and Gretel," a musical version of the well-known fairy tale made popular by the Brothers Grimm in the early 1800s.
The show is being performed at Yorktown Stage by kindergarten through second-graders in a family-friendly theatrical experience. The production is the culmination of a 10-week musical theater training program for kindergarten through second-graders who are divided into six casts.
More than 85 children from Westchester County will perform as Hansel, Gretel, the wicked witch and other characters from the fairy tale.

The performances are 11/30 @ 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., 12/1 @ 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., 12/2 @ 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. The theater is located at 1974 Commerce St., Yorktown Heights, NY 10598. Directions can be found at www.yorktownstage.org. Tickets are on sale in the lobby.
