Disaster Preparedness Workshop

FREE DISASTER RECOVERY PLANNING WORKSHOP FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

SCORE will present a free workshop
on disaster recovery planning for local small businesses in Putnam County on
September 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mahopac Library.


The workshop will focus on disaster preparation and continuity planning

including:

· Recognizing threats and risks to business
· Protecting the physical workspace, communications and

commuters
· Determining the right insurance options for a company
· Developing a continuity plan and communicating it with

employee

Strategies on how to recover and grow after a disaster will

also be key topics.
