December Art Exhibit at the Somers Library

Stephen Sepe will be exhibiting a
collection of paintings at the Somers Library during December, 2013.

Stephen Sepe is a 35-year resident
of Somers and a recently retired Scarsdale High School science teacher.
He now spends his time traveling, hiking, biking, rowing, and painting.
His main concentration is natural history illustration, but his subjects
are quite varied.  All paintings are in watercolor and gauche.

Stephen’s
works have been selected for a number of juried exhibits including Art in the
Service of Science at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois; Nature’s
Remedies at Highstead Arboretum in Redding, Connecticut; Habitat Exhibit at
Yale Peabody Museum; GNSI Annual Conference Exhibit in Savannah, Georgia; and
the Focus on Nature Exhibit at the New York State Museum in Albany.  He is
an active member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.  A selection
of his work can be seen on his website, www.stevesepe.com.
