"Changing The Way We Live"




































                 Food and Farm Conference at Hilltop Hanover  Farm

            Hilltop Hanover Farm and Slow Food Metro North are
hosting “Changing the Way we Live” on Saturday, March 1 from 9:00 to 5:30 at

Hilltop Hanover Farm in Yorktown Heights, NY.


            This one day-conference, coordinated by TedxManhattan,

features a dynamic and diverse group of speakers addressing issues in the

sustainable food and farm movement. The speakers, which number over fourteen,

will include Myra Goodman, Co-Founder of Earthbound Farm; Andrew Gunther,

Program Director of Animal Welfare Approved;  Nikki Henderson, Executive Director of The
People’s Grocery; and Michael Rozyne, Executive Director of Red Tomato. Additional

         The price of admission will be a food dish that serves 4

               Hilltop Hanover Farm, owned by Westchester County and

supported by the Friends’ Volunteer organization, is located at 1271 Hanover Street,
Yorktown Heights, NY. This active agricultural Farm and Learning Center is ten
minutes from the  Underhill Avenue  exit of the Taconic Parkway.
