May 12th Meet The Candidate: Evan Bray

On Monday Evening, May 12th, 6 to 8pm, Evan Bray and family invite all of the Yorktown Democratic Committee District Leaders, and any interested people to an evening of light fare by Bob-B-Q in Shrub Oak, juice boxes, bottled water and cheap beer on the shore of beautiful Mohegan Lake.  Have you heard about the ambitious 100x100 campaign challenge?

Parking is limited and the capacity is capped at around 75 people, so an RSVP to YorktownCode@gmail would be appreciated (Bob-B-Q is cash only--my treat--though I need to order in advance; well worth it, the food is amazing).

The agenda has one, brief item; this is more a social event:

  1. Discussion of why the Yorktown planning, zoning, and a permitting processes are broken and how I propose to fix them.
This is the most important issue facing Yorktown, for some time now.  I have the professional chops and tireless work ethic to head up a committee, from a seat on the town board, to expedite and ameliorate the development process, for both applicants and residents.  More transparency.  More efficiences.  Less headaches for the volunteer boards, and frustrated residents.

P.S. The event space is covered, in case of inclement weather.
