1. Candidate for Yorktown Town Board

2. Yorktown Town Board Meeting

Yorktown town board members meet tonight at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. John Meisterich is expected to be appointed as a member of the Yorktown Zoning Board of Appeals. For the rest of the town board meeting agenda, click here.

3. Judges Needed for Science and Engineering Fair 

Organizers of the annual Westchester and Putnam Science and Engineering Fair (WESEF), which will be held on Saturday, March 9, are seeking judges for some of the behavioral, medical and environmental projects. Click here for more details.

4. Lakeland Education Foundation's Annual Fundraiser

The Lakeland Education Foundation (LEF) will honor three district employees – Rebecca Carcova, Lisa Ieppariello and Joby Nusbaum – at its annual Casino Night and Dinner Dance to be held at the Villa Barone in Mahopac on Saturday, March 9. Click here for more details. 

5. Senior Benefits Information Center

Volunteers at the John C. Hart Memorial Library are available every Tuesday at 10 a.m. to help seniors and their caregivers with information on Medicare and other assistance programs.
