Yorktown Man, 47, Charged with DWI

A 47-year-old Yorktown man has been charged with drunk driving after he was stopped on the Sprain Brook Parkway, state troopers said. 

Willman E. Romero's vehicle was stopped by New York State Police troopers on Dec. 2 for failing to signal lane changes and for failing to maintain the lane of travel, police said.

Subsequent investigation revealed Romero was intoxicated. The man refused to submit to a chemical test, police said.

Romero was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Dec. 11.
