Mariella and I had a great bonding experience making the Valentine's Day cards... I explained to her the need to help others even with small gestures and she was very happy to make a stranger smile and feel loved. Thank you Paula for giving us the opportunity to help in a small way...

Thank you Yenny & Mariella!! The cards were such a great hit!! They were truly beautiful and I appreciate all the time she put into them and bedazzling them for everyone :) I love handmade cards, it puts such a personal touch on things and it reminds me of when we were younger making ours in school. Speaking of school :) Did she write Valentines for everyone at school? Lol!

I was fortunate enough to be able to help with both Head Start and Mohegan Park and the word amazing is an understatement for how it felt to give back. The smiles and excitement that filled the room was heart warming. My Brother Vinny is an absolutely amazing organization ran by a truly amazing woman. My children attend the head start program and received pajamas and books that they absolutely love and they even told me "I love Paula"

Special Thanks also to Janet Peck and the Sunshine Friends Prayer Circle a group from Pennslyvania that has been supporting all endeavors too. Jan is a wonderful person that mailed PJ's for the adults and women at Mohegan Park and participates in all charity work we do.

Shawn thank you so much for collecting PJ's, designing the beautiful bags and for being our staging center during the bag packing! Gymboree Play & Music has been a very large part of this event and I am thankful for all the help and support. Erica, i am thankful that you opened up my eyes and make me aware of the program. I honestly had no idea about the services the head start program offered to families until you told me about it and we started to join together to help. You've been a wonderful friend and fanastic My Brother Vinny volunteer. You bring the awareness of youth services our organization needs! I've always had a special love of Mohegan Park Adult Home and I am truly very happy to see the love you have on your face when you help the residents. Many that do not have family or contact with the public. Looking forward to so many more events, programs and extending our reach to help so many together! Your boys are beautiful and I love them too!! :) Thank you my friend!

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day! The people at the Mohegan Park Adult Home were just amazing! You may say that we lit up their day but they lit up my week!
