DOT: Underhill Avenue Exit on Taconic Closed Tuesday, Wednesday (Updated)

The exit on the Taconic State Parkway is closed for paving activities. Motorists can exit the parkway at the next exit, Baldwin Road in Yorktown.

The New York State Department of Transportation has closed the Taconic State Parkway’s northbound exit ramp at Underhill Avenue for paving activities today until 4 p.m. 

The ramp will also be closed tomorrow, Sept. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Motorists can exit the parkway at the next exit – Baldwin Road in Yorktown.

DOT is currently working on completing he  on the Taconic State Parkway. the $26 million project to rehabilitate the over the New Croton Reservoir is progressing as scheduled. Northbound traffic on the bridge is set open again in early November.

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supplyRead More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
