Truck Gets Stuck on Rt. 202 in Yorktown [Video]

Traffic was temporarily re-routed as Route 202 near Zino Nursery was shut down for the truck removal.

A truck that got stuck as it made a turn into Zino Wholesale Nurseries had to be towed in Yorktown Monday morning and caused traffic to be temporarily re-routed.

Yorktown police said the truck had gotten stuck around 10:47 a.m. Members of the police department were on scene to direct traffic. A heavy duty tow truck was requested to tow the truck.

I am sure this would be a rare occurance. However, should COSTCO be approved there should be a fine imposed by Yorktown Police to Costco reflective of the costs involved: police, fire and traffic safety

Does that mean that even though Costco will be paying property and sales taxes to the town for the same services you receive, they should pay extra if they require those services?? Maybe we should start charging all businesses and residents this same "fee" if they require police, fire and traffic safety services?

Maybe this will happen less frequently with Costco since presumably the Costco entrance will be better designed and not be a sharp turn into what appears to be an unplowed driveway.
