1. Roma Building Makeover
The Roma Building, located at the crossroads of Routes 118 (Saw Mill River Road), 202 and 35, is expected to undergo a makeover as soon as a group of architects receive the necessary building permits from the town of Yorktown. Check out the plans here.
2. Somers HS Wresting Game
The wrestling match featuring Somers High School at John Jay Cross River High School will air on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 9:30 p.m. on MSG Varsity, Optimum TV Channel 14. 3. Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester
A new Legoland Discovery Center Westchester is under construction and expected to open in March 2013. It's the first one of its kind in Northeast - a 32,300 square-foot indoor attraction geared towards children ages 3-10 and their families. 4. Three Easy Ways to Post on Patch

5. Create Clay Bowls for Hunger
Come and fight hunger with a creative clay project at The Peekskill Clay Studios at The Hat Factory on Jan. 19. Volunteers, ages 8 and up with an adult, are invited to work with an artist to make handcrafted bowls.The bowls will then be given to local organizations who feed the hungry. This creative, fun, and family-orientated activity is part of the Empty Bowls Project, an international grassroots effort to fight hunger.
