Local
- Government offices: Yorktown and Somers town halls are closed for Washington's Birthday. Strictly speaking, Monday is known as Washington's Birthday (though the great man was born Feb. 22), and has only become known as "Presidents Day" more recently to also ecompass Abraham Lincoln's Feb. 12 birthday (in New York, a state holiday).
- Libraries: John C. Hart Memorial Library and the Somers Public Library are closed.
- Post offices—There will be no mail delivered or sent Monday.
- Public schools—No school Monday due to the holiday.
State & Region
- New York Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed Monday.
