In Photos: Yorktown Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Wonderland

Children made their own Chanukah candles and latkes, got their face painted with chanukah pictures and more.

Chabad of Yorktown held a Chanukah Wonderland on Sunday, Dec. 9. Children got to enjoy making their own Chanukah candles and latkes, got their face painted with chanukah pictures, took a picture dressed as a dreidel, worked on Chanukah crafts, played games and watched a Chanukah video.

Also on Sunday was the annual Yorktown menorah lighting held at the Jack Devito Gazebo. Rabbi Yehuda Heber, Yorktown Supervisor Michael Grace and Councilmen Dave Paganelli and Vishnu Patel were on hand during the lighting ceremony. After the lighting, latkes, doughnuts, dreidels, chocolate Gelt, and a free light up menorah were given out to all attendees.
