Girls' Night Out at JV Mall, Voter Registration Deadline, Add Your Photos on Patch

1. Girls' Night Out at JV Mall Today

Sears is sponsoring Girl’s Night Out at the Jefferson Valley Mall today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Center Court. Read more about the event here.

2. Voter Registration Deadline is Friday

The voter registration deadline is Friday. In New York, mailed registration applications must be postmarked by Oct. 12 and received by Oct. 17 to be eligible for the Nov. 6 General Election. In person registration must be received by Oct. 12. You can download registration forms in English or Spanish from the county Board of Elections Web site. You can fill out a voter registration form in person at your local Board of Elections office: Westchester County Board of Elections, 25 Quarropas St., White Plains, NY 10601.

3. Add Your Photos on Patch

4. 'Tip a Teacher' Night

The Yorktown Congress of Teachers, the Yorktown Food Pantry, and Traditions 118 Restaurant are teaming up to combat hunger. On Wednesday, Oct. 24 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. the restaurant will host Tip a Teacher Night when Yorktown school district teachers will serve you dinner. All the tips as well as a portion of the proceeds, will be donated to the Food Pantry of Yorktown Community Help. Read more about it here.
