'Real Housewife' Heather Thomson in Yorktown; 'Evening of Dance;' Yorktown Camp Fair

The Foundation for Excellence and Yorktown SEPTA have sponsored a Summer Camp Fair which will be held on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Mildred E. Strang Middle School.

2. 'Evening of Dance' for Yorktown Seniors

Yorktown High School's Dance Company will present an 'Evening of Dance' show for senior citizens on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 2:30 p.m. at the high school.

3. 'Real Housewife' Heather Thomson in Jefferson Valley on Friday

Real Housewives of NYC's Heather Thomson will be visiting The Style Inn Salon, which is located at 3662 Lee Boulevard in Jefferson Valley (next to JV Bagels), on Friday, Jan. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. She will be taking pictures, chatting with everyone and signing autographs. 

4. Con Ed Continues Post Sandy Repairs Around Yorktown This Week

5. Chance of Showers, Wind Gusts to 43 mph

The National Weather Service is predicting a 30-percent chance of showers for Thursday, mainly after 8 a.m. It is expected to be partly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 36 by 5 p.m. Forecasters predict wind gusts as high as 43 mph.
