Dry Ice Distribution to Continue Wednesday
Nearly all of Yorktown is still without power. Dry ice will be available at 3:15 p.m. in the CVS parking lot of the Triangle Shopping Center.
The town of Yorktown and New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) will be distributing dry ice on Oct. 31 at 3:15 p.m. in the CVS parking lot of the Triangle Shopping Center.
The supply is limited and it is requested that only people who really are in need should seek the ice, Yorktown officials said.
"It is still extremely dangerous on the roadways due to fallen trees, electrical wires and traffic lights that are out," Yorktown police said in a statement Wednesday morning. "Residents are urged to please remain in their homes unless it is very necessary that they go out."
