Chamber of Commerce Networking Meeting, Enchanted Doll Forest, 'Daffodil Day'

Here are five things you need to know today, March 12.

1. Chamber of Commerce Networking Meeting

The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce will hold a networking meeting today at 6 p.m. at the Northern Westchester Ophthalmology, locate at 1940 Commerce Street in Yorktown Heights. The event is free, non-members are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

2. Enchanted Doll Forest Opened

Suzanne Kraus Mancuso’s Enchanted Doll Forest grand opening was this Saturday. She has a doll for everyone, including the Star Wars fans and historians. Read more .

3. Nicole Farda Advances in MSG Varsity Competition

student Nicole Farda has qualified as one of 32 performers to compete as an individual vocalist in “MSG Varsity’s Talent Show.” She will compete on March 24 and the performance will air beginning Sunday, April 15 at 8 p.m. on MSG Varsity Cablevision’s iO TV Channel 14. Should she win, she will receive a professional studio experience, including a professional photo shoot, demo CD/video and cover art.

4. "Daffodil Day"

will host "Daffodil Day" on March 21 and 22, where members and non-members can purchase Daffodils. Proceeds will go directly to the American Cancer Society. Club Fit will also donate back a percentage of the sales.
