Names of Restaurants and Chefs Vying for 2014 Awards Released by The James Beard Foundation

The James Beard Foundation has announced the names of the chefs and restaurants selected as semifinalists for 2014 awards. The winners will be revealed at an awards dinner/ceremony at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater in New York City on Monday, May 5, 2014.

Also planned: The Book, Broadcast and Journalism Awards Dinner honoring cookbook authors, culinary broadcast producers and hosts, and food journalists. It will take place at Gotham Hall in New York City on Friday, May 2, 2014.

Tickets go on sale on March 18, 2014 and can be purchased at jamesbeard.org/awards or by calling 914-231-6180.
