"And While I'm Away, I'll Write Home Everyday"

Mind the Gap and follow me to London as I study abroad this semester! At home I'm a junior at Quinnipiac University, but for the next four months I'm a student at University of Westminster!

Today is the day! I'm off to London for the next four months of my life, right now being more excited then nervous but who knows how I'll feel when I get there? I've been ready to go for months now but now that it's actually here, its a whole new feeling.

Leaving my friends and family in the states was definitely something that was hard for me, but looking forward to what I'll be experiencing in my life is what's making me excited and less sad about what I'm leaving behind here at home and at school at Quinnipiac University. (Love ya Bobcats!) Thank God for every aspect of social media, so I can keep in touch with whoever I want, whenever I want.

With mixed emotions as I finish up packing and doing last minute things, the thought of me living in London is finally starting to set in! This whole dream I've crafted for the past few months is actually about to become a reality in under 7 hours when I board my plane tonight. Good thing I've been listening to The Beatles and Adele, and...

Speaking of dreams, hopefully I'll get some sleep on the flight, the thought of waking up in London seems pretty outrageous to me, but after tomorrow it'll be an everyday occurrence!

Keep checking back here for updates of my trip, and my travels around Europe. Today is just the beginning of a long journey that I can't wait to share with you!
