Yorktown Considered as 'Perfect Fit' for Upscale Movie Theatre

An upscale movie entertainment company, IPIC Entertainment, is considering Northern Westchester County as a potential location for a 30,000 to 50,000 square-foot theater.

The theater would include "luxury stadium seating, redefined food offerings featuring chef-prepared items, internationally inspired dining rooms and superior crafted cocktails," according to a statement from RGI Properties, Inc.

Joseph Visconti, CEO of RGI Properties, Inc and also Yorktown Chamber of Commerce President, said Yorktown would be the perfect fit for the theater.

"This will help make Yorktown a destination, bring increased revenue to our town, highlight the business community and bring a lot of enjoyment to the residents," he said.

RGI Properties, Inc has been named Exclusive Westchester Broker for Vortex, Inc of New York City. The firm, Vortex, Inc has an exclusive agreement with IPIC Entertainment.

IPIC Company has interest in four locations in New York State. The first one is already under way on the New York City pier district. The second, also under way, is in Long Island.

Two more locations are being sought after in upper and lower Westchester County. Premium theater seats would offer VIP cocktail tables to accommodate food and beverage service direct to your table, Visconti said.
