Somers Restaurateur to Open 'The Rose Room' in Mt. Kisco

A new restaurant is under construction and it is called The Rose Room, co-owner Michael Lubic told Patch.

Somers restaurateur Michael Lubic, who owns Traditions 118 in Somers with his mother, Lisa, is opening another restaurant in Mount Kisco.

Co-owner Lubic told Patch that his restaurant, which is under construction, is called The Rose Room. It will be located at the fhe former site of French American Bistro (F.A.B.) in Mount Kisco (222 E. Main St.).

The Rose Room, Lubic said, will have "an eclectic American gourmet" with "a touch of Italian."

The interior space, which will have a bar and lounge space, is under construction. The place is expected to open during the first week of February, Lubic said.

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supplyRead More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
