Somers Florist Shares Tips for Mother's Day Arrangements
Maryann Iannitti, co-owner of Nest Floral Design in Somers, puts together a special flower arrangement.
Nest Floral Design is offering a wide variety of flowers that could make the perfect gift for Mother's Day, which is just around the corner on Sunday, May 12.
Patch visited the local business, located at 366 Route 202 in Somers, to see what kind of flower arrangements are being offered. The flower shop carries flower plants for the gardeners, blooming plants, orchids, flower arrangements, as well as accessories.
Co-owners Maryann Iannitti, a Mahopac resident, and Lisa Delzio, of Brewster, took over the store in February 2013.

Iannitti showed off how creative she can be when putting together a special arrangement for Mother's Day. You can check her out in action in the video above.
"We take a lot of pride in the quality [of the flowers]," Iannitti said. "We want to make people happy."

"We love what we do and we care about the people," Delzio added.
Nest Floral Design is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The store is closed on Sunday. For more information 914-277-5777.
