Community Day at Parkside Corner in Yorktown

Please join us for our first "Community Day" here at Parkside Corner Shopping Center on Route 202. There will be fun for the whole family.

Stop into the Plaza and see what Parkside has to offer. Stop by the and check out their specials – they will be having a special sale on hoodies - $2. More details to follow on their exciting Fashion Show.

Visit Little Sorrento's for a delicious lunch and then stroll past our garden for a bit of dessert at the fabulous Dreamcakes Bakery.

Saidel and Saidel P.C. will be hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross – please consider making an appointment to donate blood. One pint can save three lives.

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supply…Read More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
