Broadway Workshop with Broadway Actress Melodie Wolford

Participate in a 5-week musical theater/Broadway workshop for the young performer.

The workshop will take place at Antonia Arts - Studio 2 in Peekskill, located at 814 South Street, and will be led by Broadway performer Melodie Wolford. 

Wolford is an actress, singer, dancer and has worked professionally in theatre in New York City and national tours with La Cage Aux Folles and 42nd Street. 

She will play the mother in George M at the Westchester Broadway Theater this June. She can also be seen in many TV commercials.

Students will receive professional instruction in musical theatre technique, acting and dance. They will gain confidence and focus on artistic development.

All levels are welcome. Ages 10-16.

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supplyRead More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
