Norm Hathaway Big Band to Play at Somers Lions Benefit Concert

The concert on Sunday, Dec. 9 will benefit the Friends of Karen Adopt-a-Family Holiday Gift program.

A contemporary Big Band with a diverse playbook is coming to Somers to help raise money for Friends of Karen, a non profit organization which provides emotional, financial and advocacy support to children with a life-threatening illness and their families.

The Somers Lions Club sponsored concert will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Somers Middle School Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for students, $20 for seniors, $30 per person and $50 per couple.

The Norm Hathaway Big Band appears throughout the Metro area and has played at the Iridium on Broadway, “New York’s Best Jazz Club” and has appeared on Saturday Night Live, according to information posted on its website.
