AAA has compiled a list of the 50 "drive-to-gems" in New York State, so why not visit them this weekend?
"We ignored internationally known 'sights,' instead choosing those standing tall because of beauty, tranquility, excitement, even, idiosyncrasy," they wrote on their site.
