Boy Scouts Decorate Veteran Graves at Amawalk Hill Cemetery

Yorktown Boy Scouts from Troop 164, who were provided with American flags by the American Legion Post #1009, decorated more than 300 military veterans' graves at the Amawalk Hill Cemetery. 

The boys scouts and adults braved the heavy rain on Friday night, May, 24 to remember the men who had sacrificed their lives. They placed a flag on every veterans grave in the cemetery, according to Assistant Scout Master Paul Martin.
