Two New Eagle Scout in Troop 911 BSA

Eagle Scout Nick Denu and Erik Santini

On behalf of Yorktown Board. Congratulation on  for receiving Boy Scout's Highest Award. 

Nicholas worked on his
Eagle Project under the mentorship of Jane Daniels of the New York- New Jersey
Trails Conference.  He created and refurbished the Stoney Street
Access Trail in Yorktown, New York.  His
project included building a 12 x4 wooden bridge, building a 6 foot long rock
bridge and a raking and lining the approximately mile long trail.  He also fixed the drainage system at the
start of the trail and placed trail markers along the trail.

Eriks: Eagle project.
Beneficiary was the Yorktowns Elks No. 2324. 
The Elks supports numerous charitable causes and is a constant support to the Town of Yorktown.   The Elks were
in need of 4 light weight podiums.  Erik did not know anything about wood working but he took on this challenge
eagerly.  Eriks project took a lot of
research and meetings with multiple professionals. His project consisted of
learning how to execute such a project, enabling him in leading adults, and
peers to built 4 podiums that met the specific needs of the Elks Lodge
