GOP ribbon-cutting at new northern Westchester HQ

County-wide and local Republican candidates are once again teaming up to place their campaign headquarters in Northern Westchester. A ribbon cutting for the new office, which will serve as a GOP base of operations for the upper part of the County, is scheduled for Friday, August 16th.

Four years ago, the Yorktown Republican Town Committee began the Republican resurgence in Northern Westchester by opening an office in Yorktown Heights. The grand opening, which drew wide press coverage from the Journal Newsthe Examiner and others, was noted by News 12 as the "first GOP campaign office in the north part of the county since 1994."

County Executive Rob Astorino, County Clerk candidate Mary Beth Murphy, Town Supervisor Michael Grace, Town Councilman Terrence Murphy and board candidate Dorothy Forcina, Highway Superintendent candidate Greg Bernard, Judge Sal Lagonia, County Legislator Candidate John G. Testa, and County Legislator Candidate Greg Kane have all united in both message and resources to make this full-time campaign headquarters a reality.

The grand opening ceremonies will include an open house and pizza party next Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a formal ribbon cutting during the event. Constituents from across northern Westchester are invited to come meet the candidates.

The office is located in the Triangle Gateway shopping center next to Maria's Pizza, at 2045 Saw Mill River Road (Rte 35/202), Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
