Dancing with the Yorktown Stars-Season II

Season II of Dancing with the Yorktown Stars is back and bigger than ever. It is a Yorktown Relay for Life Fundraiser. The Event will be held at , in Yorktown, on May 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets of close to 300 sold already. It is a wonderful night out for everyone in our community to come together and support such an amazing cause. 

100% of all fundraising dollars goes to the American Cancer Society. We have incredible couples dancing for the title of #1 Yorktown Dancing Couple! NY Emmy Award Winner Tara Rosenblum will be doing our Post Dancing Interviews. Move over the Real TV Show!

A very special thank you to Sinapi's Ceola Manor for donating their entire venue for the evening along with passed Hors D'oeuvres and hot stations, a fabulous dance floor and seating for all guests!   

There will be cash bars available as well.  A very special thank you to all our Stars and Professional Dance Instructors for donating their time and their committment.  A very special thank you to our judges. This event would not be possible without everyone involved and their generousity. 

And, Featured music by Class Action, live and spectacular dancing before the show and afterwards. Come out and enjoy great music and dancing along with our fabulous Show!

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supplyRead More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
