The Yorktown Republican Town Committee is honoring three community leaders who embody the 'Spirit of Yorktown' on August 1st at Piatto Grill in Yorktown Heights. The motto of the Yorktown GOP is "Catch the Yorktown Spirit."
The awards dinner, which is from 6 pm to 8:30 pm, features guest speaker Mark C. Dillon, a former Yorktown resident whose new book, The Montana Vigilantes, debuts in September. Tickets to the event range from $60 to $250.
Being honored at the event are Yorktown's own Anthony Grasso, winner of the John Hand Award, as well as Douglas Colety, recipient of the Spirit of Yorktown Award and former Assemblyman Bob Castelli, who is being recognized as Public Servant of the Year.
