I would like to share this awesome event sponsored by the Lakeland East Girl Scouts division of the Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson!  This event, Pinwheels for Peace, celebrates International Peace Day.  Please join us on Saturday, September 21st from 11:30am- 2:00pm at Legacy Woodland Field (Strang Blvd in Yorktown, off Route 132)  Activities will include making pinwheels to be displayed on the walkway over the Taconic Parkway, making a human peace sign, face painting, tattoos and more!  All members of the community are welcomed!
