1) The Grainger Foundation has donated $10,000 to Yorktown's Guiding Eyes for the Blind in support of its mission to enrich the lives of blind and visually impaired men and women by providing them with the freedom to travel safely. Read more here.
2) Senator Greg Ball (R, C, I – Patterson) will join students, faculty and staff at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School in Yorktown to cut the ribbon for their new playground on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
