Guiding Eyes for the Blind Dog and Trainer; Campaign Signs Targeted

1) A candlelight vigil in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month will be held today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Yorktown Town Hall, 363 Underhill Avenue in Yorktown Heights.

2) Walter Panas High School Senior, Alyssa Repetto, helped spread awareness for Guiding Eyes for the Blind at the 19th Annual Support Connection Support-A-Walk for Breast and Ovarian Cancer on Sunday, Oct. 6. Alyssa set up a table at the finish line with her Guiding Eyes for the Blind Dog in Training, Fiesta, whom she has been training since last November, 2012. Read more about her here.
